Due to continued growth and to meet the demands of new business Engsolve is looking to recruit a post-graduate Process Engineer with up to 3 years experience.
Essential Experience and Knowledge
A sound knowledge of all Chemical Engineering principles and methods (Mass & Energy Balances, Heat Transfer, Separation Processes, Flowsheeting and Equipment Types);
Working knowledge of project processes (particularly early stage concept study/FEED work) or working knowledge of operational plants;
Experience of working alongside other disciplines in either a project-based or operational role;
Experience in working to accepted standards of quality, checking procedures etc;
Highly developed IT skills.
Desirable Experience and Knowledge
Ability to use process simulation software (eg Aspen) to a high standard;
Working knowledge of process safety (Risk Assessment, HAZID, HAZOP);
Appreciation of basic process control schemes.
Keen to learn and develop new skills;
Inquisitive / questioning nature;
Ability to view work both from a high level and at a very detailed level;
Keen to develop professionally.
